My Dad dosen’t really speak to me much about how it was when I was younger and shit like that. But I always remember him speaking of how I was little kid standing in front of the TV watching Onyx video “Slam” not knowing the words but bopping my head to the beat and moving my body as if I’m performing for a crowd, mumbling “Slam Duh-duh duhda! LET THE BOYS BE BOYS”. My Dad’s imitation of how I used to do it is hilarious.

I’ve always been drawn in by aggressive flows and lyrics kind of music. Onyx was the first before DMX. Now to be 19 years old with Hip-Hop all through my life, I appreciate their one of kind creative style in 2011. A lot of the artist out today lack creativity. Basing their career off getting high and naming their albums “I’m gay” for attention. That’s not Hip-Hop.

If your an Lloyd fan who’s been waiting for his 3rd coming album “King Of Hearts” to drop your wait is a little bit more longer then expected. Lloyd released only 3 songs from his upcoming album, each song is a chart topper in my book.

The first song which leads up to his album singles release was an feature on Lloyd Banks Album Hunger For More 2 “Any girl”. A banger from an unexpected collaboration between the two because of the ongoing beef with Lloyd’s former record label Murder Inc. 

“Lay It Down” was an extraordinary track Lloyd released followed by his single with 50 Cent “Let’s Get It In”. Another shocking collaboration because we all know 50 hates Ja-Rule and Irv Gotti’s guts. Lloyd’s latest single “Cupid” is definitely a track everyone should know. With 3 consecutive bangers and beats from Polo Da Don, Lloyd’s album is something I really can’t wait to hear.

What do you all think though!?. These are super producer Swizz Beatz new sneakers from Reebok. I mean. personally the last time I had a pair of Reebok’s is when 50 Cent came out with those G4’s. I was crushing 6th grade that year with the G-Unit outfit and sneakers to match Lol.

I Like the name of the sneakers “Kamikaze”, the design is kind of cool but not anybody can just pull these off. You have to know how to rock them right with the right outfit or something as simple as nice jeans and white V-neck.

Everyone is familiar with one of the greatest movies of our childhood “The Lion King”. I’m not sure if many people are aware of the sequel “The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride”. It’s basically a story where Simba is now the active king of Pride Rock and those who followed behind scar have been exiled to the out lands.

Simba’s daughter shows all the same characteristics as him when he was younger. Just a little cub curious about life getting into all kinds of accidental mischief. While she’s out she comes across a cub name Kovu who was the chosen one by scar to be the next king. Kovu had been trained since birth to be a conniving vicious killer. Kovu’s mother Zira formed a plot to kill Simba in retaliation of scars death and take back The Pride Land.

While Kiara and Kovu were cubs, they come into a close call with being eaten by Alligators. After the fact, Kiara attempts to play a game of tag with him but he has no clue on the concept of the game and is confused on what Kiara is trying to do. Since he’s been trained to kill he does not have fun like a normal kid should.

Now that they have grown up  Zira’s plan to kill Simba is now in effect. Kovu has to get close to Kiara to get close to Simba and kill him. In the plan to Kovu getting close to Kiara changes his mind entirely. Kiara showed him “love” something he never had before. Simba takes Kovu out to have a talk when Zira shows up with the other exiled Lions to kill Simba. Kovu decides he wants to help Simba and not kill him.

The plot failed, Simba feels betrayed by Kovu and both sides feel the same as well. Now alone, Kiara is the only one who cares about Kovu and going against Simba’s word of being under supervision at all times goes off to find Kovu who’s alone.

Kiara showed Kovu that life isn’t about getting revenge and being evil. She showed him a whole new way a living and for that Kovu changed his ways. That’s truly a touching relationship. It proves that sometimes it takes someone who’s the complete opposite of yourself to help you open your eyes and see a better picture.
